Keep learning whatever you are doing
There is this thing with beginning artists and those who learned quite a bit but still haven't "got there" yet: imagining that everyone else just can do art effortlessly. Somehow.
No.
First, i have to agree that we are good at different things. Some are great at maths. Some understand music theory. Some understand how machines work.
Some draw and paint well. Others are good at pvp and ganking you for funsies.
That's an undisputed fact, HOWEVER-
Even when you have this talent for any craft, you don't just exist with all the knowledge and expertise already there. You work on learning and improving it. Everyone does.
What you often see at profiles on social media with thousands if not more likes (or whatever the cool people do these days) - it's not the beginning you are witnessing, it's a result of years of work.
And or the purpose of this, no, of course, AI prompting is not art lol.
Ok, so where exactly am i going with this?
To hopefully, if anyone out there sees this thinking "I'm not good enough at this" - that's the natural part of the process and absolutely not a reason to give up! Everyone stared there.
Everyone did a piece of art once, wasn't exactly happy with it, noticed the reason - next time improved on that part. Kept refining it.
And, one day, you too will be comfortable putting your painting on the wall to display it proudly.
You are not scared that you aren't good enough, you are just afraid of starting. You noticing something sucks means you actually know quite a bit to identify it.
And trust me, while yes, i know, i could do better anyway - it was so much worse, and i've been doing this for a couple of years, digital art starting from 0.
Now i can paint a wallpaper for myself in GIMP.
I hope to make at least one tutorial in the future, so a total of 2 people seeing this will maybe get a hint on how to start?
thanks for reading and have a nice day
